Solar loan: easy steps and low EMI
Install now, pay monthly. The EMI is often close to your old light bill.
The loan in short
- Homes up to 3 kW: collateral-free loan at around 7% interest (scheme rate).
- Bigger systems: bank loan on the bank's normal terms.
- The government subsidy still comes to your own bank account.
- Applicant above 65: a family member joins as co-applicant.
Steps
- 1Choose "Bank loan" in your proposal or registration
- 2Upload loan documents
Aadhaar, PAN, light bill, bank passbook, property proof. The bank may ask for income proof.
- 3We file the loan with you
Through the PM Surya Ghar portal (linked to the government loan portal) or your bank branch.
- 4Bank checks and sanctions the loan
- 5Installation; bank pays us in parts
Usually most of the amount at installation and the balance after commissioning, as per the bank. You pay only the EMI.
